The History Of Securit                                                             

Securit started in January 2006 by two brothers Graeme Potgieter and Ian Potgieter,seeing a need for security in south Africa as the crime levels were on the increase.Securit built up a name and reputable reputation specializing in all fields from alarm systems,out door beams,CCTV camera systems,electric fencing right down to gate motors and intercom systems.

Towards the end of 2008 Securit decided to mainly focus on alarm systems,outdoor beams,CCTV camera systems and electric fencing,straightening their knowledge together with their team largely in these security Fields.  

Graeme also decided to focus and gain more knowledge in the field of Robogaurd wireless outdoor beams,making him one of the leading knowledgeable experts in Robogaurds,building up a large Robogaurd clientele.

In January 2012 Graeme bought out Ian's shares in Securit,making him the sole owner of Securit as Ian wanted to further his career in the engineering field.Graeme is furthering his studies in crime and security intelligence to accommodate his clients security needs.Graeme with his team have decided to specialize in the following fields of security,creating a large client base via word of mouth.
